Teamsters Local 396, chartered in 1947, is a proud affiliate of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, one of the most influential Labor Unions in North America. For over seven decades, Teamsters Local 396 has been a powerful advocate for workers' rights, improving the lives of its members and their families by building on the core values of the Teamsters Union: strength, solidarity, and justice.

Our Local Union represents a diverse group of dedicated professionals, package, sanitation, and food delivery drivers, who play a crucial role in keeping our communities connected and operational. Our members are integral to ensuring the timely delivery of essential goods and services, thereby contributing significantly to the backbone of our economy.

Teamsters Local 396 is committed to negotiating strong contracts that guarantee fair wages, comprehensive health benefits, secure pensions, and safe working conditions. By doing so, we uphold the legacy of the Teamsters Union, which is rooted in fighting for dignity, fairness, and respect in the workplace.

Throughout our history, Teamsters Local 396 has engaged in numerous successful campaigns to protect and expand the rights of workers. We have a proud tradition of standing together in unity, shoulder to shoulder to confront challenges and achieve significant victories for our members, reflecting the Teamsters' enduring commitment to social and economic justice.

In addition to our advocacy work, Teamsters Local 396 is actively involved in the community. We participate in various charitable activities and community service projects, embodying the Teamsters' spirit of teamwork and mutual support. Our members take pride in giving back to the communities they serve, making a positive impact beyond the workplace.

As we look to the future, Teamsters Local 396 remains dedicated to upholding the values that have defined our union for generations. We are committed to building a brighter future for our members, advocating for social and economic justice, and continuing to be a leading voice in the labor movement. Together, we stand strong, united in our mission to protect and advance the interests of working families.
